第二十六屆宋淇翻譯研究論文紀念獎（2023–2024）徵文通告

緣起：宋淇先生（1919–1996）生前著譯豐碩，並不遺餘力推動翻譯教學與研究工作。為紀念宋淇先生對翻譯事業的貢獻，宋氏家族於1997年捐款，由香港中文大學翻譯研究中心設立「宋淇翻譯研究論文紀念獎」，獎勵海內外華人學者從事具有原創性的翻譯研究，尤其鼓勵以第一手材料從事文化與歷史方向的探討。

徵文及提名：香港中文大學翻譯研究中心現誠邀中國大陸、香港、澳門、台灣地區及海外華人學者、研究生參選2023–2024年度第二十六屆「宋淇翻譯研究論文紀念獎」，亦歡迎學者向本中心提名推薦高水準的翻譯研究論文。論文獎參選細則如下：

（一）中國大陸、港、澳、台地區以及海外華人學者、研究生均可參選。

（二）參選論文語言以中、英文為限，必須在2023年內公開發表於正式的學術刊物。每位參選者最多可遞交兩篇論文，請在參選論文的顯要位置標明所載刊物名稱、發表時間與卷號。

（三）論文獎每年頒發一次，每次設獎額3名，不分等級，每位得獎者將獲頒獎勵證書及獎金港幣3,000元。

（四）論文獎評審委員會由中國大陸、港、澳、台地區從事翻譯研究的知名學者組成；評審委員會於2024年6月進行最後的評審工作，評審結果將於7月公開宣佈；每位得獎者將收到評審委員會的書面通知。

（五）參選論文恕不退稿。

申請程序：

（1）參選者請於2024年4月30日前以電郵或郵寄方式（日期以郵戳為準）將參選論文送交香港中文大學翻譯研究中心。以電郵送交論文的參選者，請掃描已發表在刊物上的論文，以PDF檔案附件形式傳送；郵寄送交論文的參選者，請提供已發表的論文原件或複印件。

（2）提名推薦翻譯研究論文者，請將所推薦的論文作者題目、刊物名稱及刊登卷號電郵至本中心。

（3）電郵地址：rct@cuhk.edu.hk（請在郵件主題中註明「參選第二十六屆宋淇翻譯研究論文紀念獎」字樣，並於郵件正文內列明論文題目、所載刊物名稱、發表時間與卷號）。

（4）郵寄地址：香港沙田香港中文大學翻譯研究中心（請在信封上註明「參選二十六屆宋淇翻譯研究論文紀念獎」字樣）。

The 26th Stephen C. Soong Translation Studies Memorial Awards (2023–2024) Call for entries

Introduction: Stephen C. Soong (1919–1996) was a prolific writer and translator as well as an active figure in the promotion of translation education and research. To commemorate his contributions in this field, the Stephen C. Soong Translation Studies Memorial Awards were set up in 1997 by the Research Centre for Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a donation from the Soong family. They give recognition to academics who have made contributions to original research in Chinese Translation Studies, particularly in the use of first-hand materials for historical and cultural investigations.

Entry and Nomination：RCT invites Chinese scholars or research students in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan or overseas regions to participate in the 26th Stephen C. Soong Translation Studies Memorial Awards (2023–2024). General regulations are as follows:

（1）All Chinese scholars or research students affiliated to higher education/research institutes in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan or overseas regions are eligible to apply.

（2）Submitted articles must be written in either Chinese or English and published in a refereed journal within the calendar year 2023. Each candidate can enter up to two articles for the Awards. The publication date, title and volume/number of the journal in which the article(s) appeared must be provided.

（3）Up to three articles are selected as winners each year. A certificate and a cheque of HK$3,000 will be awarded to each winning entry.

（4）The adjudication committee, which consists of renowned scholars in Translation Studies from Greater China, will meet in June 2024. The results will be announced in July 2024 and winners will be notified individually.

（5）Articles submitted will not be returned to the candidates.

Submission：

（1）Applications and nominations for the 26th Stephen C. Soong Translation Studies Memorial Awards (2023–2024) are now open. Entries can be made by email attachment or by post (postmarked on or before the deadline). For email submission, please attach a scanned PDF version of the published article. For postal submission, please provide the original or a photocopy of the journal entry.

（2）Scholars are welcome to nominate outstanding journal articles in the field for the Awards. The publication date, title and volume/number of the journal in which the article(s) appeared must be provided.

（3）E-mail address: rct@cuhk.edu.hk (with ‘Entry for Awards’ stated in the subject and the title of the paper, the publication date, title and volume/number of the journal in which the article(s) appeared provided in the email).

（4）Postal address: Research Centre for Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong (with ‘Entry for Awards’ marked on the envelope).

All entries should be submitted on or before 30 April 2024.
